The Afterschool Snack podcast is a show that is created and produced by Department of Parks and Recreation youth participants, and their projects are done individually or in a group. We usually cover topics that are of interest to young audiences, including music, movies, TV shows, social media, sports, relationships, school, current events, mental health and other peer-related topics.

Our services will expand in the near future to include a clothing and food bank, birth certificate assistance and transportation for early employment. With the future of the next generation in our hands, we believe that with additional supportive services we can reach more youth and young adults and teach them strong employment skills in the media and technology field. We have been in-partnership with the District of Columbia Department of Employment Services for two years now and we are looking for ways to give the youth more resources and more opportunities.
